At A&I Seismic we offer a complete range of services for surveying, calculating and reinforcing buildings in earthquake prone areas. With our multidisciplinary team and use of modern techniques, we provide customized solutions that are both technically sound and fit the situation of the occupant.
Surveys & Inspections
We start every project with a thorough survey of the house or building. Here we map out existing damage, structural risks and constructional particularities. We also take the resident's concerns and wishes seriously.
In addition, we map the entire structural structure of the home - from foundation to roof. This forms a solid basis for the next steps in the design and implementation process.
Execution drawings
Based on the inspections and analyses, we draw up clear execution drawings. These contain all the necessary information for correct and efficient execution on the building site. Think of dimensions, use of materials and details of structural reinforcements. In this way, we minimize errors and ensure smooth execution.
Reinforcement Advice & Complete Reinforcement Plans
We draw up complete reinforcement plans, including technical drawings, material specifications and practical implementation guidelines. We ensure coordination with clients, executing parties and residents.
3D scanning & BIM models
Using 3D laser scanning, we take highly accurate digital images of the building. These scans form the basis for our BIM (Building Information Modeling) models, which we prepare in Autodesk Revit Architectural.
Our models visualize both the existing situation and the planned reinforcements in detail. This speeds up the design process, prevents errors and promotes cooperation with all parties involved.
Resident Support & Communication
We value clear and human communication. We stand beside the resident and explain technical information comprehensibly. We ensure that wishes are heard and - as far as possible within the standards - are included in the final plan.
